Best mole I've ever had. Really authentic food with great service in a fun spot. Enchiladas were banging and the carne asada platter had large portions. Delicious cemitas and tamales too

I had one week this year where my stomach was in a lot of pain; I decided to try a veggie burrito from here on a whim, and it turned out to be the only thing that didn't hurt me all week! (Not to mention, it was DELICIOUS.) I've been a loyal customer since, as the experience definitely speaks to the quality of the food. Since then I've tried a lot of things on their menu, and found that my favorite is the chorizo flautas -- they're packed with flavor, and come with a nice side of their beans and rice. This is a cute spot, though I always seem to do take-out, and the staff is always super sweet and quick when I go in (they even had some chocolate for Halloween!) They have some grocery items available too -- I've grabbed maseca and queso fresco from here which I generally haven't been able to find at bodegas nearby. I get the sense that it's a smaller family business, so definitely come support!
Al pastor tacos. That's it. That's all you need to order from here. I've eaten at this very unassuming place many times and ordered for pickup. There are a few tables inside if you want to eat in the restaurant. I have tried other tacos here but the al pastor tacos keep me coming back. The pork is tender and the pineapple works well. I feel like I'm making a mess every time I order from here since there's so much juices. Add some lime and red/green hot sauce depending on how spicy you want it. Also very affordable. Check this place out!
BEST MEXICAN FOOD I'VE EVER HAD. No joke. This was soooo good I can't stop thinking about it lol. My friend told me he knew a good authentic Mexican place (I feel like i have a pretty good sense for that cus there are a lot of great Mexican places in Chicago) and I was blown away. I got chicken tacos and rice. The tortillas had to have been homemade cus they were that perfect chewy consistency. The salsas were amazing. Everything about it was so delicious I can't rave enough. I wish I was back in New York to buy this every day.
